Waiting Staff (Kensal Green)
How do you get to Paradise? Well according to the Victorian writer poet and critic Gk Chesterton you can go " to Paradise by way of Kensal Rise" You see Kensal Rise was the location of London s biggest and most famous cemetery where the wealthy built huge mausoleums for themselves and their families to be buried under. Also though the cemetery was also used to dig deep burial pits in which London s poor destitute and nameless drunks could be chucked in once they died rather than leave them polluting the ditches and sewers that ran through London s streets. So if you wanted to get to heaven without devoting your life to good work you could also do so by drinking yourself to death and getting dumped in a big hole in the ground in Kensal Rise. Nice. The Paradise is an exciting new bar pub restaurant music venue on Kilburn Lane just round the corner from Kensal Rise and Kensal Green tube and overland stations a ten minute walk from the heart of Ladbroke Grove and is just round the corner from London s famous old cemetery. It s a converted 120 year old Victorian boozer over three floors with bar room private drinking and function rooms a 200 capacity music venue theatre club 100 cover dining room with food from an award winning high profile chef with a garden and a roof terrace. It really is special which is why I need special people to come and join us in Paradise as we reopen its doors mid-August. I need these people please Hard working fun and experienced.
