Ref 082416 The Company Our client is currently recruiting for a Copy Editor for their office in Central London. Candidates must be fluent in English to mother tongue level as the content will be written in English but fluency in any other language would be a good advantage. The Role The role will be responsible for writing reports in English on the European or Russian or Middle-Eastern commodities sector researching and commentating on any news or events that may affect market prices. The role will involve a large amount of material research via telephone and internet to obtain relevant news. The role will involve commentary and factual based journalism and will be a high pressure role with strict deadlines. Candidate Profile Candidates must be fluent in English to mother tongue level and fluency in any other language would be a good advantage. At least 2 years experience within journalism (online magazine newspaper journal) is essential and candidates must have a very good level of understanding of economics or economical principals and ideally commodities trading or general broking. Any experience gained within a financial or commodity reporting or commentary role will be highly advantageous. Salary Additional Information The salary for the role will be negotiable between £36K 38K but for candidates with exactly relevant experience the salary will be highly negotiable above this. The client offers an excellent working environment with a very good package. This role requires someone who can work Monday to Friday midday for 3 hours. The salary would be paid accordingly.
