The Role
Accountable for:
Providing consultancy and advice to the country functions regarding all HR matters.
Developing and implementing the HR related plans (training, career development and recruitment) in line with business requirements and HO overall strategy.
Preparing the country’s consolidated HR budget.
Developing/ maintaining Job Descriptions and organization charts in coordination with LOBs and HR at HO.
Managing the performance appraisal process in the country.
Participating in updating/ maintaining the country’s HR P&P’s and ensuring the country’s compliance with them.

Key Roles:
Prepare the country’s consolidated HR budget and submit it to HO for approval.
Oversee the implementation of the training plans and ensuring their effectiveness in meeting clients requirements.
Oversee and participate in the recruitment process.
Maintain updated organization charts & Job Descriptions at all times and ensure they are duly approved from appropriate authorities
Manage the performance appraisal process effectively according to the standards set by HO.
Provide feedback to HO with regards to staff benefits/ practices to reflect local market specificities.
Develop and update the country’s HR P&P’s and ensure it is aligned to HR HO guidelines.
Implement the grading process based on the guidelines provided by HO.
Build efficient communication channels between HR Functions and the respective internal clients.
Provide advise to internal clients on development & utilization of resources to ensure high levels of efficiency, expertise, and productivity.
Address complaints received from internal clients and ensure to resolve them in the minimal time possible
Job Requirements:
Education: Degree from a recognized university. HR certification is preferred.
Experience: Min (7) yrs of HR management experience in a leading Regional/ International institution, of which at least 2 years in a managerial position
Competencies:
-Fluent in English & Arabic
-Strong Interpersonal & presentation skills.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-Strong knowledge of the functional roles of the Bank.
-Proactive in addressing and solving HR problems.
