Responsibilities

Participates in development of annual account plans. Acts as customer's primary point of contact for all technical needs, and proactively develops technical relationships at all levels of the account. Delivers product presentations and demonstrations internally and externally on all relevant Symantec solutions. Coordinates with Marketing and Sales to ensure that Symantec initiatives are timely and appropriate for current end user and/or market demand. Responsible for partner satisfaction regarding technical aspects of initiatives. Acts as project lead to ensure that partner's specific product requirements are addressed in both current and future product development. Assists sales with building business cases for new opportunities. Maintains technical knowledge of competitive solutions. Manages all technical aspects of account(s) or territory in a complex go-to-market model, leveraging both internal and partner resources. Uses business and technical concepts in accordance with company objectives to solve complex problems in creative and effective ways. Frequently contributes to the development of new business models and revenue opportunities. Employs expertise as a subject matter expert. Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors as well as anticipation of future requirements or opportunity. Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related experience. 3+ years of related experience with a minimum of 1 year of direct experience in OEM or ISP environment. Expertise in security solutions and/or enterprise solutions strongly preferred.
