Description
bds mktg is currently looking for a highly motivated, responsible, and experienced apparel merchandiser to work with our apparel clients in a High End Retail Store. The position plays a vital role in the introduction of new products as well as product merchandising in order to ensure our clients the best support available.

We are currently working to expand our merchandising support staff in the Waterloo, IA area. This is a part time position, utilizing a flexible schedule and will run continuously upon training completion.

General Job Description:
# Ensure that our client’s image is represented correctly; a professional appearance is required at all times. This individual must be highly organized and must be able to independently manage their account base.
# Cover a geographic territory, specific to the market, on a bi-weekly basis. This will require limited travel
# Develop in-store relationships.
# Ensure that merchandising support materials are delivered to all supported locations on a timely basis.
# Maintain regular contact with Field Supervisor through phone calls, conference calls, regular mailings, and field reporting.
# Comply with all program requests.
# On occasion you may be asked to assist in sales, in-store trainings, mystery shops, or demonstrations.
Qualifications and Experience
# 1-2 years of prior Merchandising experience
# Candidates must possess some retail sales background (two years preferred)
# Must have a computer with internet/web access and the ability to send and receive email attachments.
