Compliance Solutions Occupational Trainers Inc., headquartered in Denver, Colorado has an immediate opening for a National Training Manager/Instructor. This is an active training position with approximately 25% management responsibilities. * Is capable of managing a growing training staff of contract and full-time Instructors
* Conducting training sessions ( average four to eight days per month
* Developing new content and updating existing training manuals

We may have the perfect fit for you. Extensive experience teaching HAZWOPER and/or Emergency Response (29 CFR 1910.120) is REQUIRED.

Position Requirements:

* A minimum of 3 years teaching HAZWOPER (Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response) or Emergency Response in commercial or government settings.
* Proven experience developing seminar or online training courses for the health and safety field.
* Advanced computer skills using Microsoft Power Point, Excel and or similar authoring software.
* Proven leadership and management skills.
* Project management experience.
* Experience in Superfund remediation management and training experience will be given top preference followed closely by experience as a Site Safety Manager.
* A current CSP or CIH certification and a degree in Environmental or Occupational Safety are desirable.
* Bi-Lingual training and/or course development experience is not required but is preferred.

The successful candidate will be conducting and managing a field staff of 25+ contract and full time Instructors in the following: HAZWOPER, Emergency Response, DOT Hazmat Transportation (49 CFR), Confined Space Entry, OSHA Site Supervisor and EPA Hazardous Waste Management (40 CFR). Our company provides training in open-enrollment and onsite training classes across the U.S. Mexico and Canada. As their primary supervisor, you should have an intimate understanding of these courses and the associated regulations.

You should expect an average work week of 45-50 hours per week with occasional weekend duties. Travel is occasional but your should have the flexibility to be able to leave on a moment's notice to conduct training courses, employee interviews and participate in company trade shows.
