Responsibilities

The Site Manager shall be able to perform/supervise these tasks:
* Coordinates the Installation, commissioning & start-up activities with the customer schedule and reports the actual progress to customer and GE Oil & Gas HQ
* Acts as single point site contact for customer interfaces and all communications to GE Oil &Gas HQs
* Coordinate activities of site Technical advisor to ensure project schedule and quality goals are achieved
* Take care of site logistics organization and attends all site coordination meetings
* Ensure that TAs have adequate resources (manpower, tools, technical documents, facilities, etc) to perform their tasks
* Ensure all TA timesheet are correct and approvals as required are obtained
* Management of subcontractor companies: manpower, OEM specialist (when applicable)* Ensure all reports and drawing "marked-up" are completed
* Ensure the application of applicable EHS safety rules
Management competences include:
* Good attitude to manage relationships with customer and Oil & Gas HQs, concerning technical and contractual aspects
* Follow up all quality aspects according to six sigma approach and GE Oil & Gas QA manual and procedures
* Working knowledge and application of EHS rules
* Coordination and management of manpower (when applicable)
* Effective communication to HQs, through company e-tools

Qualifications

* Electronical/Mechanical Engineer Degree or Technical High School
* 3 - 5+ years related work experience either in engineering or field activities in Oil & Gas industry
* Good knowledge of Oil & Gas Equipments (Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine, Centrifugal Compressor, Auxiliary Systems and Control philosophy)
* Ability to understand and implement mechanical drawings
* Good knowledge of English language
* Availability to frequent travel worldwide (on and off-shore)
* Strong analytic and problem solving skills
* Good interpersonal & organizational skills
* Computer skills
